 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ A sketch of Beleg Cúthalion. Guardian and companion of Túrin Turambar. Woefully slain by Túrin, a painfull mistake. The story leads us to believe that Beleg was actually one of the original Elves of the awakening, having 'no sire' and being 'ageless'. He was the ultimate woodsman, captain and master of his own life, having 'no master'. I sketched Beleg in a ready for action stance. I am not very good at character design and action packed images are not my strength. But I thought that Beleg deserved to be shown with his black yew longbow at the ready. Great warrior and captain, great friend. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Started four big size drawings for this one, but they were all covered with 'fail-sauce'. This is a sketch I made in the right upper corner of one of them, about an hour and a half of work. I work best when I just 'start scribbling'. So Eri, I hope this one satisfies you! I may do a colour version of Beleg, since I just dubbed him my favorite Elf. |
